20 Blogs about Nostradamus, the Mayans, and 2012
Tuesday, March 30th, 2010
Check out these 20 Blogs and resources about all things 2012. There are religious blogs written by people who truly believe the world may be coming to an end in 2012. There are other blogs about the movie 2012 and others yet that are about the book. If you are intrigued by the hype surrounding 2012 and want to research the topic in more detail then these resources should help you decide for yourself whether this is fact or fiction.
- http://blog.2012pro.com One of the better blogs on 2012 is this one by Gerard Le Flamand. It covers subjects like how to build a survival bunker as well as general information all about the predictions surrounding 2012. There are links to several interesting books and videos on related subjects as well.
- http://www.the2012apocalypse.com This site has references from all over the Internet including cnbc.com. It seeks to follow the hype and deception surrounding 2012 coupled with the very real cultural and geopolitical problems facing the world today. It goes beyond the normal constraints of 2012 predictions.
- Getthebigpicture.net Read all about the movie 2012 starring John Cusack and Woody Harrelson. This review describes the good, the bad and the ugly about this movie. I didn’t see any spoilers on this site, but they do review others movies as well.
- http://2012-doomsday-predictions.blogspot.com Uncover the secret truth about 2012 and the end of the world prophecy made by Nostradamus as well as how that relates to the end of the Mayan calendar.
- http://www.2012finalfantasy.com You can read about everything from Iceland and Alaska heating up to discussions around the movie 2012 and books on the subject of the end of the world. It also has a countdown to Dec. 21, 2012.
- Maya-portal.net/blog/carl/2012_movie More than a movie review on this blog, this reviewer has studied the actual Mayan calendar that is the whole basis for the movie. As expected the movie has very little content based on fact and this review does go ahead and talk about the actual Mayan calendar.
- Whowillsurvive2012.com This is the official movie site for 2012 and has a 3 min. movie trailer.
- Trinidadandtobagonews.com/blog An interesting review of the movie 2012 as well as a lot of background about why movies like 2012 are so popular and why we will see others as we approach 2012. This reviewer has researched the whole 2012 doomsday myth and has a lot to say about it.
- Circlesoflight.com/blog/maya-cosmogenesis-2012 Several books are reviewed on the subject of 2012. Many books are about the true Mayan calendar and one is even a book that tries to sort out all of the books and predictions about 2012.
- Quranreading.com/blog An interesting blog about the real concerns in the world about Dec. 21, 2012 being the end of the world. What is the concern surrounding this date? Is any part of this prediction based in fact? Read more on this blog to find out.
- Derrenbrown.co.uk/blog NASA answers the question is there anything bad going to happen to the world on Dec. 21, 2012. Read more to see what they say and what others say in response to the question and answer.
- 2012predictions.net A comprehensive list of all 2012 predictions. From religious prophecy to Mayan predictions, to spoofs on them all this site has them all and it makes for an interesting read.
- News.cnet.com An official NASA site fully addressing the 2012 predictions and concerns. There are many comments from followers regarding what NASA has to say. See for yourself.
- Nostradamus2012.com When it comes to predictions no list would be complete without Nostradamus. Check out his predictions and how they relate to the others. Is there an American conspiracy to hide evidence of Doomsday from us?
- http://2012.tribe.net There is an interesting thread that began in December 2003 discussing everything surrounding 2012. There are several great on topic posts on this one with only a few completely unrelated posts. This is a great way to see what a larger group of people think of the 2012 scare.
- http://2012-comet.com This site is chocked full of information around 2012, killer comets, UFO videos, and lots of religious commentary. Some of the information simply informs and other stories are simply outrageous.
- http://blog.2012planetx.com This contains a Planet X forecast as well as a survival guide for 2012. This site is a little bit out there so have an open mind “Wherever you are in 2012, always remember this: Chance favors the prepared mind.”
- http://2012connection.wordpress.com If you are looking for a list of resources around the 2012 apocalypse and several articles attempting to raise the general awareness of the topic then this blog is a good and quick read.
- http://2012rising.com This site attempts to rise above just talking about doomsday issues surrounding 2012 to take on topics like remote viewing and other subjects more far reaching than the end of the Mayan calendar.
- http://www.2012spam.com Is the end of World coming in 2012? Watch videos about 2012 and read the predictions here to determine if you think it is a scam, spam, or the truth.
It’s very easy to get caught up in the drama of the movie 2012 and some of the stories that are making their way around the Internet. Was Nostradamus correct? Did the Mayan calendar end because they felt it was the end of the World or because the supervisor decided it was time to end the project? I guess we will find out soon enough. Until then, hopefully these resources will help you decide for yourself whether or not you should be worried about December 21, 2012.

20 Sports Images for Us Geeks to Laugh At
Tuesday, March 16th, 2010
So as already discussed on numerous occasions, I am definitely a computer geek and not ashamed of it. I also love sports but when I play it’s obviously comical. Well it doesn’t just take me on the basketball court or baseball field to make sports funny. Here are 20 of my favorite funny sports photos. Most of them make me feel a lot better about my athletic endeavors.
I think this one may have been from me as a kid…
Please, please, please don’t go in!
What? I’m supposed to jump over this thing?
Wow! talk about sacrificing your body!
Now I have some wedgie stories, but this is ridiculous!
You told me to keep my eyes on the ball!
I will flex every muscle in my body including my jaw!
She almost was able to hold him up… so close!

The pitcher threw a split seam fastball apparently…
Catch this!
Okay, I may need to go on a little diet…
I said… watch the ball already!
The girl must become a warrior!
Yikes! Not those balls for crying out loud!
Okay, I believe you can jump over me already… enough said!
I feel so pretty!
U-N-C-L-E!
Enough said…
tickle, tickle, tickle!
It’s so much more fun to laugh at others than to always be the one in the pictures being laughed at. Fortunately, there are funny pictures popping up all over the Internet. I’m almost positive that there are several of me that look very similar to some of these out there. For now, I mostly stick to playing tennis and Mario Olympics on the wii.
