Top 20 Science Fiction Book Blogs

Do you love Science Fiction?  Do you have a favorite author?  If you’re like me once I read everything that my favorite author has published I’m looking for other stuff about her or people to chat with about those books.  Check out the following blogs written by Sci-fi lovers.  Maybe you can find a new favorite author or find a new show to watch.

1. Chikune.com/blog reviews various new sci-fi books and opens up a forum to comment on each book reviewed.  It’s a great place to find new books to read without having to read all the backs of the book.
2. Patrickrothfuss.com/blog auctions off various books and does fund raisers with signed copies of sci-fi books.  If you want to get in on the winning you’re going to have to check out this blog.
3. Abc.nl/blog shows book reviews and allows everyone to comment on the books.  They also talk about who received what award in sci-fi literature.  Interviews with authors are also included and really fun to read.
4. Scifitv.com.au/Blog is exactly what it sounds like.  It’s all about sci-fi the TV channel.  Enjoy great interviews with stars from your favorite Sci-fi shows.  Everything from literature to video games are covered on this blog.
5. Pubrants.blogspot.com a great blog that discusses publishing rants.  This blogger brings up popular books and points out various aspects of them that bring up these “rants”.
6. Newscientist.com/blog When science fiction meets reality.  Check out this science blog and see how scientists are taking their cues from science fiction on a new weapon.
7. Liswire.com is a librarian’s news wire per the heading on this blog.  This blog keeps up with everything literary.  Check out newly published books and read a short description about it.
8. Bordersblog.com/scifi brings authors together with their fans online.  Guest bloggers will present topics for the public to debate in regards to Sci-fi.  If you want to chime in just check out this blog.
9. Io9.com has many videos related to the various topics.  All related to sci-fi of course, but the most recent article is about how a new sci-fi show is using super heroes again.  There is a lot of information on this blog for the sci-fi lover.
10. Bigdumbobject.co.uk This blog is a great source for online fiction from new authors as well as television shows and even an article about how Sci-fi breaks the laws of physics.
11. Suvudu.com includes everything from the newest trailer for Iron man II to a comparison between new and used bookstores.  There is even discussions about comics and animated sci-fi.
12. Revolutionsf.com is a great resource for short stories in the science fiction genre.  In addition to the short stories you will find book reviews and other things sci-fi.
13. Phantazm.net this blog has a bizarre yet intriguing point of view about alternate realities and various parallel worlds.
14. Sciencefictionmusings.blogspot.com This lady touches a little on everything.  She reviews a couple of new shows by request from cable television stations.  She opens topics like “Why do I like male sci-fi writers better?”  For an interesting read check out this blog.
15. Sqt-fantasy-sci-fi-girl.blogspot.com Check out trailers for “How to Train Your Dragon”, Iron Man II”, and “Alice in Wonderland”.  Also check out new books in the sci-fi and fantasy genre.
16. Truescifi.wordpress.com Based solely on the printed word this blog reviews science fiction books.  Along with the book reviews are some very insightful commentary on things going on in the world as they relate to science or sound like sci-fi.
17. Bscreview.com reviews books, has interviews with your favorite science fiction authors as well as other ramblings about the world of sci-fi.
18. Apexbookcompany.com leans toward the darker side of sci-fi.  This blogger reviews stories turned into short movies.  Also included are great deals on buying new stories cheaply.
19. Tobiasbuckell.com Tobias is an award winning science fiction writer and speculative fiction writer.  Go behind the scenes and see how Tobias comes up with his stories.
20. Aidanmoher.com/blog reviews many different science fiction books and stories.  They also discuss news related to the sci-fi world.  Also included are author interviews and great deals on books.
